Heintz, Peter (13 November 1878 - 16 October 1970)

Funeral services for Peter Heintz, 91, of Neillsville, who died here October 16, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Charles D. Brady officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A rosary service was held Monday evening.

Mr. Heintz was born November 13, 1878, in Cashton to Adam and Mary (Schmitz) Heintz. He was educated and spent his early life in the Cashton area and worked for a telephone company before coming to Neillsville. He had been a resident of the Bryan Home since April 8, 1951. Mr. Heintz never married.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lena Meisner of Viroqua, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Fred Subke, John Bryan, John Pannenbecker, Larry Nauertz, Gary Nauertz and Dennis Gall.
