Nelson, Norma (Marriage - 19 August 1950)
The English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth was the scene on August 19, 1950 of the wedding of Miss Norma Nelson, home economics instructor in the Neillsville High School the past season, and Wallace F. Hammerberg, son of Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Hammerberg of New London. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Albert Dickie.
The bride was attired in a gown of Chantilly lace and marquisette with the skirt extending into a train. Her finger-tip veil of French illusion fell from a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a white Bible. Attendants were Ruth Knowles, Shirley Nelson, Robert McKay and Leon Nelson.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Hammerberg are graduates of Stout Institute. They will make their home in Highland Park, Ill., where the groom has a position as an industrial arts teacher.
