Markowski, Marian (Marriage - 1950)
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Thorp was the recent scene of the wedding of Miss Marian Markowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Markowski of Stanley and Richard Burzynski, son of the Frank Burzynskis of Thorp.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in traditional white satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice, long sleeves, and a lace marquisette yoke forming a high neckline. Her full skirt fell into a long train, and her lace-trimmed finger-tip veil was held in place by a tiara of seed pearls. Her bouquet consisted of white roses and chrysanthemums.
Attendants were: Miss Virginia Markowski, Miss Elaine Markowski, Miss Delores Burzynski, Barbara Zasacki, Francis Markowski, Alex Langiewicz, Stanley Markowski, Jr., Peter Burzynski and Walter Romaz.
The couple is residing on the groom’s farm near Thorp.
