Frank George Wolf, Cameron, Wis., passed away Thursday evening
at the home of his son, Alvin, in Eau Claire.
Mr. Wolf was born in
Chicago, Ill. on Feb. 13, 1888. On Oct. 14, 1906 he was united in marriage to
Anna Koch in Chicago. They lived there until June 1922 and then moved to Jump
River, Wis., where he operated a general merchandise store until 1945. They then
moved to Cameron in 1962. He was very prominent in the civic and community
affairs in Jump River, and was the town clerk there for many years. He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge in Thorp, Wis., and was a Mason for over 50 years.
Survivors are his wife, two sons, Alvin, Eau Claire, and Erwin K., Rice
Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Jacobs, Zion, Ill., and Mrs. Helen Wilson of
Brookfield, Ill.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The
body laod in state at the Gilman Funeral Home from Sunday noon until noon on
Monday, at which time he was taken to the Ladies' Aid Hall at Jump River, where
funeral services were held at 2 p.m.
Interment was in the Mount Nebo
Cemetery at Jump River.
