Mr. and Mrs. Leon Graikowski of New Berlin, Wis., spent the weekend at Frank Gostomski's, and also visited with the former's father, John Graikowski, who is very ill at the Victory Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kobylarczyk, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Burquist of Minneapolis, Charlene Schmidt and friend of Lodi, Wis., were weekend guests at the Cyril Alger home.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Oldroyd of Clear Lake arrived last Thursday to spend the New Year's holiday with their parents, the Harold Oldroyd's of Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Val Wyczawski and family visited on Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lipinski.

New Year's guests at the Bruno Lato home were Mrs. Anton Cieciora, , Mrs. Alice Osowski and Thomas and Miss Rose Weix of Colby.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Olsen of Eau Claire were New Year's guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.e. Bauer in Thorp.

Mrs. Louis Kaczor and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. William Dudansky and family.

Miss Pat Lato left for Pittsville on Sunday, where she has a teaching position.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blazel and family of Madison, formerly of Thorp, were guests over the New Year's weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Bauer, and also visiting other friends and relatives in Thorp and Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Weinberg, Emily Quell, and Mrs. Louis Kaczor spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Layton Asselin.

Miss Carol Ruda of Arlington, Va. spent Christmas and New Year's with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ruda and family.
