Erickson, Leona (7 Jan. 1914 - Jan. 1958)

Funeral services for Mrs. Emil Erickson, who died at the Wisconsin General Hospital at Madison, as reported last week, were held Saturday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church, Rev. Wm. R. Christian officiating, and burial was made in the Unity cemetery.

Pall bearers were Edward, Arvin, Howard, Roger Kramer of Abbotsford, Darrel Kramer of Waupaca, and Orin Kramer of Athens, cousins of the deceased.

The former Leona Kramer was born in the Town of Holton January 7, 1914, thus reaching the age of 44 years. She was married on May 12, 1938, in Milan to Emil Erickson. The couple came to Colby in 1950.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Shirley, at home; her mother, Mrs. Anna Kramer of Arpin; two brothers, Earl Kramer of Abbotsford and Norman Kramer of Keenan; five sisters, Mrs. Ray (Caroline) Decker of Colby, Mrs. Elroy (Cecelia) Hanne of Abbotsford, Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Gass of Pittsville, Mrs. Charles (Roslyn) Spatz of Auburndale, Mrs. Delmar (Darlene) Pieper of Curtiss.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Mrs. Anton Kramer, Mrs. Clara Kramer, Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Kramer, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kramer, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kramer, Roger Kramer, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Einar Olson, Mr. and Mrs. George Schiebe, Mr. Gordon Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Carlson, Mrs. Ina Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lueth, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Erickson and Patsy, Mr. and Mrs. Lannie Voss of Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Kramer of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gass of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Carl A.
