Rinehart, Delbert (6 Apr. 1911 - 4 June 1970)

Spencer, Wis. - Delbert Rinehart, 59, died early today at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer, with the Rev. David Ault, pastor, officiating. Internment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitations may be made at the Jasperson Funeral Home beginning at 1:30 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday, and then at the church.

Mr. Rinehart was born April 6, 1911, at Granton and received his education in schools in Athens. His marriage to the former Erna Juedes took place at Hamburg June 2, 1933. The couple lived for eight years at Stratford and Athens before moving to a farm in Unity, Wis.

In 1959 they moved into Spencer where Mr. Rinehart operated an upholstery business.

Mr. Rinehart has served as a school board member of the Maplewood School and Colby High School and was treasurer of the cemetery board. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty Jane) Schwantes, Spencer; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Alvina Rinehart, also of Spencer; five sisters, Mrs. Elmer Hamann, Athens; Mrs. Woodrow Romens, Unity; Mrs. George Deegan, Brookfield; Mrs. Marvin Wolff, Franklin; and Mrs. Ray Toltzman, Spencer; and two brothers, Henry Rinehart, Loyal; and Clifford Rinehart, Colby, Wis.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.
