McDonough, Carrie (16 November 1881 - 22 October 1970)
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie (Joseph) McDonough, 88, of Neillsville, who
died October 22, were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home.
The Rev. Daniel Litzer of Calvary Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was in
the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. McDonough was born November 16, 1881,
in River Falls, where she spent the early part of her life. She was married in
St. Paul, Minn., to Joseph P. McDonough, who died in 1945. They lived in St.
Paul for five years before moving to Eau Claire, where they lived for two years.
The remainder of their married life was spent in Neillsville. Due to failing
health, Mrs. McDonough had been a resident of Memorial Home for the last two and
one-half years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Survivors
include a daughter, Mrs. Kurt (Helen) Franke, Neillsville, and a brother, Melvin
Roen, River Falls. She is also survived by two grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were: James Musil (the balance of the names
was not on my copy, sorry)
