Hoeper, Maude E. (Marriage - 16 October 1970)
Maude E. Hoeper, Greenwood, became the brie of Ross Braithwait, Owen, at a 4
p.m. ceremony performed October 16, at the Owen United Church of Christ by the
Rev. W. Peterson.
The bride, given in marriage by Phillip K. Hoeper,
Omaha, Nebr., wore a blue and white coat and dress ensemble with a corsage of
white carnations and red roses.
Mrs. Charles Hoeper, Greenwood, was
matron-of-honor. She was attired in a blue, street length dress with white
accessories. Her corsage contained white carnations. Charles Hoeper, Greenwood
served as bestman. Ushers were Rodney Hoeper, Greenwood, and Kenneth Hoeper,
Omaha, Nebr.
Frieda Stark sang, “The Lord’s Prayer,” accompanied by
Connie Wagner. Bouquets of blue and white carnations decorated the church.
A reception for 100 guests was held at the Owen Legion Hall, which was also
decorated with bouquets of blue and white carnations.
After a wedding
trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will live on Rt. 1 Owen, where the groom
is employed at the Frederick Post Company.
