Victor P. Sr. (3 MAY 1932 - 21 SEP 2013)
Victor P. Woellner Sr., 81, died
Saturday, September 21, 2013, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at
his homestead farm surrounded by his family.
The funeral Mass will be
celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at St. Anthony Catholic
Church, Athens. The Rev. Paul Hoffman will preside. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m.
until the time of services at the church.
Pallbearers for the service
will be Joshua Young, Chris Woller, Paul Kreft and Matthew Woellner.
In
lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Victor P.
Woellner Sr., age 81, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 under the care of
Ministry Home Care Hospice at his homestead farm surrounded by his family.
He was born May 3, 1932 in the town of Halsey, son of the late William and
Catherine (Riehle) Woellner. On August 3, 1954 he married Laura Dahl at St.
Anthony Catholic Church in Athens. She survives.
Victor worked for
Mueller Pipeline for 35 years. While employed there he continued his education
to advance to operating engineer and was a 49 year member of the Operating
Engineers Local 139. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed woodworking, making
special items for each of his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife,
Laura, Athens; children, Florence (Glen) Kreft, Marathon, Susan (Claude) Kreft,
Debra Woellner (Kirk Simon), Sarah (Mike) Young, all of Athens, Brian (Jodi)
Woellner, Wausau, and Kent (Brenda) Woellner, Athens; 14 grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; sisters, Florence (Donald) Punke,
Athens, and Dorothy McKinley, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Patricia Woellner,
Texas, and Betty Auner, Athens.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in
death by sons, Victor Jr. and Ronald, a daughter, Bonnie, brothers, David and
Phillip Woellner, and brothers-in-law, Tom McKinley and Virgil Auner.
The
