Mr.
and Mrs. Nyle Ross of Oshkosh visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Clausen. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clausen and son of Bend, Ore., also visited at
the Clausen home one day last week. The two Mr Clausens are brothers.
Mr.
and Mrs. Werner Jenni returned Monday evening from a five-day visit with their
daughter, Mrs. Myron Payne, and her family in Milwaukee. They also visited with
other relatives and friends in the area.
Sunday dinner guests at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. William Simek, Sr., were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gault and Mrs.
Mary Simek, Wausau; Peter Manz, Savage, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. James Simek and Mrs.
Leonard Wachholz, Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gault visited his
mother, Mrs. Minnie Gault, Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zille
visited Lee Selves at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield on Friday afternoon.
Mr. Selves was injured in a truck-car accident on October 12. His condition is
still considered to be serious.
Mrs. Gladys Douyette, Woodruff, visited
recently with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zille and with her brother, Lee Selves, at St.
Joseph’s Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zille spent Friday evening with Mr.
and Mrs. Dave Stange of Waupaca. On Saturday the four visited a brother-in-law,
Frank Galloway, 80, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, where he underwent major
surgery on October 19.
Mrs. Ellen Englund and her sister, Mrs. Neal
Johnson, of Minneapolis, Minn., were Saturday supper guests at the Anita
Schoengarth home.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bender and family of Loyal and
Hattie Forman were dinner and supper guests at the Alvin Lavene home on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and Hattie Forman called Sunday evening at the
Edward Greeler home.
Hattie Forman was a supper guests of Mrs. Ellen
Englund and Mrs. Neal Johnson last Thursday evening.
Mrs. Lavern Johnson
of Osseo, Minn., and John Franke of Black River Falls visited their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Kurt Franke and attended the funeral of their grandmother, Mrs. Carrie
McDonough on October 24.
Mrs. Walter Larsen entertained the Pleasant
Ridge Card Club at her home Tuesday evening.
