Buddinger, Carl Peter (20 September 1909 - 3 November 1970)

Funeral services for Carl Peter Buddinger, 61, of Rt. 1 Neillsville, who died November 3, were held from the Georgas Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Melvin Nickel, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Buddinger was born September 20, 1909, in the Town of York, the son of Charles and Minnie (Kaufman) Buddinger. He attended the Oriole Hill School and completed his education at Neillsville High School.

Mr. Buddinger assumed operation of the family farm in the Town of York upon the death of his father and continued in that occupation until December of 1969 when failing health forced his retirement. He was married to the former Velma Turner in Marshfield on April 14, 1942. They live together on the family farm until the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife and three sisters, Mrs. Tony (Beatrice) Walter of Loyal, Miss Bernice Buddinger of Arkansaw, and Mrs. Herman (Frances) Young of La Crosse; and a brother, Ernest Crossett of Marshfield.
