Funeral services for Carl
Peter Buddinger, 61, of Rt. 1 Neillsville, who died November 3, were held from
the Georgas Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Melvin
Nickel, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated and burial was made in
the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. Buddinger was born September 20,
1909, in the Town of York, the son of Charles and Minnie (Kaufman) Buddinger. He
attended the Oriole Hill School and completed his education at Neillsville High
School.
Mr. Buddinger assumed operation of the family farm in the Town
of York upon the death of his father and continued in that occupation until
December of 1969 when failing health forced his retirement. He was married to
the former Velma Turner in Marshfield on April 14, 1942. They live together on
the family farm until the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife
and three sisters, Mrs. Tony (Beatrice) Walter of Loyal, Miss Bernice Buddinger
of Arkansaw, and Mrs. Herman (Frances) Young of La Crosse; and a brother, Ernest
Crossett of Marshfield.
