------ Fahrenbach, Kathleen (5 JUN 1965)
Ervin Primeau of Abbotsford took Miss Kathleen Fahrenbach
of Curtiss as his bride Saturday, June 5, at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby,
during a 1:30 o’clock nuptial mass at which the Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiated.
The children’s choir provided the music during the mass.
Pink and white gladioli were used on the alter to set the pink and white
scheme of the wedding.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ervin
Primeau of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fahrenbach of Curtiss.
Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Emannual
Firnstahl, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Zender of Stevens Point, a brother-in-law and sister of the bride.
Cousins of the couple, Richard Hein of Athens and Richard Boie of Thorp,
seated the guests at the church.
The bridal gown was fashioned of silk organza with
Chantilly lace over taffeta. The
long-sleeved fitted bodice had a Sabrina neckline with lace and pearl trim.
The sheath skirt featured two rows of lace and a detachable chapel train.
Her four-tier all silk illusion bouffant veil was secured to a forward
fabric cluster of flowers with pearl trim.
She carried one long stemmed pink rose attached to a white lace covered
prayer book.
Pink silk linen weave floor-length dresses were worn by
her attendants. The fitted bodices
with their scoop necklines had elbow-length sleeves and cummerbund waistlines.
The skirts with the new slim look yet with fullness featured a large bow
in the back. A forward cluster of
fabric flowers with seed pearl trim secured their circular veils.
They each carried one long stemmed white rose.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Primeau received the congratulations
and best wishes of 150 guests at a reception at the Colby city hall.
On their return from a honeymoon trip to an undisclosed
destination they will be at home at Marshfield where the groom is employed at
Praschak Manufacturing.
The groom is a graduate of the Colby high school and his
bride was graduated from the Dor-Abby high school.
Out of town guests present were from Kohler, Fort
Atkinson, Thorp, Owen, Wisconsin Rapids, Athens, Stevens Point, Stratford,
Wausau, Whitewater, Rosendale, Milwaukee, Stetsonville, Marshfield, Rib Lake,
and St. Paul, Minn.
