Baumrind and the Masonic and Jewish services were given at the grave.
Mr. Phillips passed away at his home here of a heart attack on Tuesday, March 11th, 1947, after a long illness. He had reached the age of 77 years.

Mr. Phillips’ health became poor at that time and during the past six months he failed rapidly.
He was a member of the local Lodged No. 264 F. & A. M.
Besides his widow, who has been an invalid for some time, he is survived by one son, Sol, of Thorp, and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Cohan of Grand Rapids, Mich. And Mrs. Norman Chaimson of Minneapolis, Minn. One son preceded him in death.
Interment was made in the Second Home Cemetery family lot in Milwaukee with Masons serving as pallbearers.
