Funeral services for Frank Theodore Buss, 63, Curtiss,
who died of a heart attack shortly after midnight Sunday, June 6, while
attending a friend’s anniversary observation, were held Wednesday, June 9, at 1
p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Green Grove.
The Rev. Harold Woodworth officiated at the services, and
burial was made in the Green Grove cemetery.
The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby was in charge of arrangements.
Frank Buss was born in the town of Green Grove in Clark
county March 23, 1902. He was
educated in Green Grove school, and spent his entire life there, eventually
taking over the operation of the farm on which he was born.
He was never married.
Mr. Buss served his community as a school board member in
the former Oakland district, and he was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran
church, Green Grove. He also served
as an officer and an usher at the church.
Surviving are a brother, Herbert Buss, and a sister,
Martha Buss, both living on the home farm.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
