Schiesl, Mary Lou (1 Mar. 1933 - 15 Nov. 2008)
Mary Lou Schiesl, 75, passed away Nov. 15, 2008, her husband's 80th birthday, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She fought a year-long battle with cancer.
She was born March 1, 1933, in Chili to Leona (Bealer) and Louis Wickersham. She graduated from Marshfield High School and married Jack Schiesl on June 26, 1952 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. They moved to Kenosha and lived there 52 years. They moved to Ladysmith in 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, and five sons, David of Tonasket, Wash., Richard of Talkeetna, Alaska, Gregory of Kenosha, Mark of Campbellsport and Terry of Anchorage, Alaska; one granddaughter, Jessica; one grandson, Chase; and one great-granddaughter, Kelsey; brothers, Harold of Kenosha, Glen (Audrey) of Colby, John (Lorena) of Delavan; and one sister, Joyce (Don) Deichsel of Delavan.
She was predeceased by her brother, Edwin. She loved her family, her garden, cooking and crafts and always took care of everyone else. She was so loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
