Romanowski, Helen (15 AUG 1890 – 9 DEC 1964)
Helen Romanowski, 74, passed away Wednesday, December 9th, at the home of
her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Luzinski, of a heart condition.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church,
Lublin, on Saturday, Dec. 12th. Rev. Anthony Matla officiated at the ten a.m.
service and burial was made in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were all
grandsons of the deceased: Kenny Romanowski, Robert Romanowski, Ronald
Romanowski, Ronald Zaremba, Stanley Luzinski and Louis Luzinski, Jr.
Helen Dombkiewicz was born August, 15, 1890 in Poland. After arriving in the
United States, she had lived at Lublin and Thorp. In May 1908, she was united in
marriage at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin to Jaroslow Romanowski, who preceded
her in death in 1958.
Surviving are six sons: Joe of Stanley, Edward of
Thorp, William of Boyd, Anton of Gilman, John of Wausau and Paul of Chicago;
five daughters: (Sophie) Mrs. Joe Zaremba, Chicago; (Frances) Mrs. Louis Larson,
International Falls, Minn.; (Mary) Mrs. Louis Luzinski, Thorp; (Anna) Mrs. Steve
Luzinski, Colby; and (Veronica) Mrs. Roman Tyznik, Thorp; 43 grandchildren and 6
great-grandchildren.
