Haslow, Geralda (04 September 1887-10 July 1966)
Mrs. Edward (Geralda)
Haslow, 78, died Sunday evening, July 10, at the Clark County Hospital, Owen, of
old age complications at 11 p.m. She had been residing there since she suffered
a stroke six years ago.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday,
July 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, with the Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer
officiating and burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery. The myre Funeral Home
was in charge of all the arrangements.
Gerelda Klahn was born September
4, 1889 at Loyal. Her marriage to Edward Haslow took place September 20, 1906,
at Loyal and they farmed west of Loyal until 1943 when they moved to the city of
Loyal.
Her husband preceded her in death on March 9, 1951.
She was
a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Young, Loyal; four sons, Harold, Spring Green; Raymond,
Beaver Bay, Minnesota; Walter, Milwaukee; and Donald of Australia; 19
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Frank Kline,
Loyal; Ira Kline, Corning, California; and Fred Kline, Oakland, California.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
