DuBrava, John (06 Aug 1904 – 11 July 1966)

John Dubrava, 63, Loyal, died early Monday morning, July 11, at the University Hospital, Madison, where he had been a patient sinceJune 16.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Loyal Methodist Church at2 p.m. Thursday 14, with the Rev. R. James Hagen, Spencer officiating and burial will be made in the Loyal Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home until the time of service.

Mr. DuBrava was born August 6, 1904 in Vienna, Austria and married Edith Helms in November of 1929 at Milwaukee.

He came to the United States at the age of one year with his parents who settled in West Virginia. Some years later the family moved to Phillips where he farmed with his father. From 1920 to 1929 he worked at various jobs and after his marriage he returned to Phillips. Im 1948 he moved his family to a farm west of Loyal; in the spring of 1954 he retired and moved to the city of Loyal.

He is survived by three sons; Larry, West Bend, Jack Jr., Beaver Dam, and Dale, Loyal; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Pearl) Orsburn, Greenwoof; and eight grandchildren.
