Wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Kay
Diane Demuth, daughter of Mrs. Ada Demuth; and Franklin James Catlin, son of Mr.
and Mrs, H. E. Catlin, all of Loyal.
The Rev. Paul Doering, Ladysmith,
officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, July 9, at the Loyal Methodist
Church.
For her wedding the bride chose a white linen floor-length gown
with a scoop neckline and demure elbow length sleeves. The modified empire waist
and sleeves were bound with delicate Venice lace bound with satin ribbon. The
floor – length skirt was a chic sheath.
A floral cloche outlined with
pearls secured her bouffant veil. The bride carried a arrangement of pink roses,
Miss Sandra Gusman, Loyal, was the maid of honor and Miss Corrine Demuth,
Loyal, was bridesmaid.
The aides wore mint green floor-length linen
dresses, with a empire waist accented by green velvet ribbon, and elbow length
bell sleeves.
Their headpieces were matching mint green bows with veils.
They carried pink roses and mums.
The groom choose Wayne Demuth, Madison
as his best man and Michael Demuth, Loyal as groomsman.
Ushers were
Thomas Gusman and Joseph Bruckart, Loyal.
A reception was held at the
home of the bride’s mother followed by a dinner at the church, That evening a
dance was held at the Silver Dome,
The bride is a 1966 graduate of the
University of Wisconsin, Madison. The groom attended University of Wisconsin,
Eau Claire, and just completed 6 months training with the National Guard.
After a wedding trip in Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Eau
Claire.
Out of town guests attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Hansen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Purainen and family, Rockford,
Illinois; Miss Connie Bell, Madison; Mrs. Ted Peterson and Miss Carol Peterson,
Ladysmith; Mrs. Tom Peterson and sons, Wausau; Gary Everson, Whitehall; Mrs.
John Perry, Waukegan, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ingold Sr., Roger Ingold and
Miss Maryanne Schultz, Neillsville; Medford Catlin, Milwaukee and other
relatives and friends from Greenwood, Spencer. Granton and Loyal.
