Brunner, Gene (3 JUN 1907 - 31 JAN 1966)
Gene Brunner, 58, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) , died at 1:45 a.m. Monday at St.
Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
Services were conducted at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp. Burial was made in the parish
cemetery.
Mr. Brunner was born June 3, 1907, at Thorp, and lived there
most of his life. He was a graduate of the Thorp High School with the class of
1926, and then attended Barber College in Minneapolis.
He had owned and
operated a barber shop in Thorp for a number of years, and then was employed as
a barber by William Schief of Medford. During recent years he was employed by
Foremost-Blue Moon Cheese here.
His marriage to Rosella Herm, who
preceded him in death Feb. 2, 1930, took place Aug. 22, 1935 at St. Bernard's
Catholic Church in Thorp.
His only survivors is his mother, Mrs. Edith
Brunner, thorp.
He was preceded in death by three children in infancy,
and his father.
