In a nuptial mass at St. Ann’s Church, Eleanor Ann Valk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Valk, and Adam Walter Michur, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Michur of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony on Saturday, June 7, 1947 at 9:00 a.m., the Rev. Paul Pitzenberger officiating.

The attendants were Tony Lietrven, cousin of the groom; Bennie Roytek, friend of the groom; and LeRoy Mohr, cousin of the bride. They all wore blue suits and white carnation boutonnieres.

Breakfast was served to the bridal party and inner was served in the church basement to 100 guests. A reception was held in the afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents.

After a wedding dance at Mileaway, the bridal couple left on a short wedding trip. The newlyweds will make their home on their farm near Withee.
