Thompson, Sena (20 Aug. 1861 - 21 Mar. 1935)
Mrs. Sena Thompson since 1890 a resident on a farm one-half mile north of Curtiss, died at her home at 5:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon. Death was the result of a paralytic stroke, suffered on Sunday, March 17.
Funeral rites were held Monday afternoon at the home, followed by services at the Norwegian Lutheran church. The Rev. W. D. Anderson officiated and internment was made in the family lot at the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Norway, Aug. 20, 1861. She came to Wisconsin in 1889 and a year later was married to Olaf Thompson. Since her marriage she has resided on the present farm home. Her husband preceded her in death 22 years ago.
She is survived by five daughters and one son: Misses Clara, Esther, and Alma, at home; Miss Minnie, Milwaukee; Miss Thea, Reno, Nev.; and Alfred, also at home.
One brother, Matt Rued, Curtiss, also survives.
Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Lutheran church and of the Ladies Aid Society.
