MRS. CLARA DAVIS IS HONORED AT BIRTHDAY DINNER

Mrs. Clara Davis celebrated her 80th birthday, Friday, Oct. 14th. In her honor, Mrs. August Luhrsen and Mrs. Homer Kennedy entertained a group of friends at a five o’clock dinner at the former’s home. Those present were Mrs. Clara Davis, Mrs. Henry Ficher, Mrs. Harry Olson, Mrs. Fred Ries, Miss Anna Scheeler, Mrs. Mary Schreiber, Mrs. Homer Kennedy and Mrs. August Luhrsen.

Mrs. Davis sang for her friends "In the Garden". She also accompanied herself.

Mrs. Davis is one of our pioneers having come from Fond du Lac when only a young girl. She has made her home in the Town of Holton and is at present living in Abbotsford, Wis.
