Colby, Wis. - May 15, 1958

Miss Rose Firnstahl of Loyal, Route 1, visited her aunt, Mrs. Lena Eder, at Colby Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Prange and Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Augustine spent the week-end with friends at Baraboo.

Mr. and Mrs. William Sedlack spent the week-end in Oshkosh with their son-in-law and daughter.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Young, Jr., of Colby, Route 1, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital May 8th.

Henry Aderhold and William Sedlack attended the meeting of the Marathon County Board of Supervisors at Wausau Tuesday.

Dr. W. W. Payne and Fred Schwierske were in Neillsville last week Friday where they attended county board committee meetings.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Maid of Ishpeming, Mich., visited Tuesday with their aunt, Mrs. Emma Welsch, and with Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Dessloch.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dott and two children of Beaver Dam spent the week-end with Mrs. Dott’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rindfleisch.

Mrs. N. L. Dessloch will leave Sunday for Milwaukee to attend the W.C.O.F. state convention at the Hotel Schroeder. She is a delegate from St. Mary’s court.

Mrs. Clarence Anderson, Mrs. Ray Decker and Mrs. Walter Ebeling, who had been at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, have returned to their respective homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Godfried Nystrom spent several days at Atkins Lake in Bayfield county and the week-end at Embarras with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nystrom.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eder took the former’s mother, Mrs. Lena Eder, to Baraboo last Saturday where they visited Mrs. Eder’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conley. On Sunday, the Eders and Conleys went to the E. J. Dalton cottage on Lake Wisconsin at Merrimac and celebrated Mother’s Day. Mr. and Mrs. George Hessefort of Clinton came up to spend Mother’s Day with Mrs. Hessefort’s mother and took her back to Clinton with them on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Lena Eder will spend the summer months with her daughters at Clinton, Merrimac and Baraboo.
