Wescott, Harvey (24 Jan. 1864 - 29 Apr. 1958)
Harvey Wescott died at the Marathon county hospital at Wausau April 29 at the age of 94 years. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Rev. Roger Knutson officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Henry Vick, Arvid Talcott, David Nieman, Albert Schneider, Ernest Pasche and Herbert Seelow.
Mr. Wescott was born on January 24, 1864, in Kaukauna and moved to Colby in 1887 with his parents. He married Eva Bullen in 1890 after which they moved onto a farm in the town of Eau Pleine. His wife died in 1939 after which he lived with his son, Glen, on the home farm, six and one-half miles east of Unity, Wis. Two years ago, he suffered a paralytic stroke and was taken to the hospital.
Surviving are one son, Glen, one sister, Mrs. F. J. Wicker of Colby, three grand children and nine great grand children.
