Sample, Helen (Marriage - 25 June 1935)
A very pretty wedding took place Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Sample near Withee, when their daughter, Helen, became the bride of Donald Horn of Riverside. The service was read by Rev. Everett Delware of Weyauwega.
The bride wore white embroidered organdie, her arm bouquet was of white roses and sweet peas.
A nephew of the bride, Price Proctor, carried the wedding ring in a calla lily.
The bride’s attendants were Miss Virginia Swanson and Miss Kathryn Hass, who were attired in yellow and peach organdie and carried arm bouquets of blue delphiniums and pink sweet peas.
The groom was attended by Noel Schelling and Hugh Cullen; the three wore white flannel trousers and oxford gray coats.
The young couple left soon after the reception for Oshkosh, and will be at home to friends at 470 Mount Vernon street, after July 1st.
They are both well known in Abbotsford and Colby and have the best wishes of their many friends.
