Jaskot, Blanche R. (9 AUG 1947)
Miss Blanche Roselyn Pawlak, daughter of Mrs. Martha Pawlak of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Leonard John Jaskot, son of Mrs. Sophie Jaskot, Thorp, in a Nuptial Mass celebrated by the Rev. Francis Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp, at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, Aug. 9, 1947.
Miss Caroline Rogalski, Withee, was maid of honor and Leon Pawlak, brother of the bride, was best man. Others in the bridal party included bridesmaids, Martha and Adeline Jaskot, sisters of the groom, and Dolores Ryktarsyk, cousin of the bride; groomsmen, Joseph Pawlak and Kelvin Pawlak, Withee, cousins of the bride.
The bride has been employed at the Thorp Beauty Shop. The groom is engaged in farming.
After a reception at the P.N.A. Hall, Thorp, the couple left for a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin. They will make their home with the groom’s mother.
