Trevalle, Samuel Floyd (23 Nov. 1871 - 6 July 1935)
Funeral services for Samuel Floyd Trevalle, 64, a resident of this village for the past 29 years, who died at the Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison, at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon July 6, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Presbyterian church.
Rev. L. C. Smith, pastor, conducted the rites. Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Mr. Trevalle was born in Dodge county on September 23, 1871. He was married on November 25, 1895 at Hersey, Wisconsin, to Miss Louisa Scott. Mr. Trevalle was an employee of the Soo Line railroad for 30 years. He retired in 1928 because of defective eyesight.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter, John, Iva and William at home and Clarence of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The following brothers and sisters survive: Milton of Minot, N.D.; Frank of Kansas City, Mo.; Friend of La Crosse; Mrs. Flora Olson, Gregory, S.D.; and Mrs. Cliff Reynolds of Medford, Oregon.
His wife and a daughter preceded him in death.
