Anderson, Audrey LeNoir (Marriage - 8 Aug. 1935)
Miss Audrey LeNoir Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Anderson, was married Thursday, Aug. 8, to Lester Kattre, at Waukegan, Ill. The marriage took place at noon with Justice Harry White officiating at the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Kattre left for the Wisconsin Dells after the ceremony and arrived home Saturday.
A wedding dance in their honor, given by the Bootzin Co., was held at the Armory Saturday night. Out of town relatives who attended the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert May and daughter, Bernice, Miss Elva Samuelson and Leonard Zeller of Stanley and Harvey Anderson, Owen.
The bride was attended by Misses Leona and Irene Pappenfus. The groom’s attendants were Elroy Kattre and Eldred Strebe.
Pink lace and pleated ruffles of pink silk tulle were combined in the bride’s floor length gown, and her fingertip veil was also of pink tulle with ruffles and a cap of flowers. White accessories and a shower bouquet of white roses, carnations and gypsophelia, completed the ensemble.
Miss Leona Pappenfus was gowned in Nile green taffeta and Miss Irene’s frock was of peach lace. Both carried arm bouquets.
Mr. Kattre is employed by the Bootzin Co. The young couple are making their home here in Mrs. Barker’s residence.
