Chili (12 November 1970)
Mrs. Harry Baumgartner of
Marshfield and Wayne Baumgartner of Milwaukee spent last Wednesday afternoon
with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lindow.
Walter Schlinsog was an afternoon and supper
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Werner Doehr
visited last Wednesday with Mr. Doehr’s brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs.
Archie Bequette, in Fairchild.
Mrs. Phelps Spry entertained the Chili
Homemakers last Tuesday. The project leader was Mrs. Lyle Zimmerman.
Don
Spry, Herb Puscheck and Kenneth Fenske went to Marshalltown, Ia., Tuesday to
pick up the new Chili fire truck. They were expected to return with it on
Wednesday.
The WSCS of the United Methodist Church served an Election Day
dinner Tuesday at the church. They held their regular monthly meeting after the
meal. Mrs. Alvin Gray was Devotional leader.
Cub Scouts from Chili
visited at Memorial Home in Neillsville last Thursday and distributed Halloween
treats to the residents. Den mothers are Mrs. Bonnie Happe and Mrs. Marie Smith.
