Genevieve Wellen left Monday for a visit with
relatives at Whitehall.
Hjalmar Wisth and family are visiting at the John
Wisth and Gus Paschke homes.
A number of friends helped Mrs. Anna Larson
celebrate her birthday Wednesday.
Lawrence Johnson, left for Kenosha
Thursday, where he will work for the summer.
Henry Olson returned home
from Eau Claire Thursday.
Fred Elmer and family are visiting at the E.A.
Elmer home.
Mrs. Emil Luther and Mrs. Henry Sudoso drove to Marshfield on
Saturday.
A number of neighbors surprised Mrs. Aannerud Friday, each
presented her with a "Hen". 'There sure was some cackling.'
Olaf Ystad
spent a few days last week with home folks, returning to Milwaukee Friday with
his car.
Mrs. Alfred Severson was taken to the hospital Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Bartholomew spent Thursday evening at Aannerud's.
The
R.E. Larson family spent Sunday at Swanson's.
A bunch of young folks
attended the dance at Maple Center Friday night.
Erwin Elmer and crew
finished sawing lumber Saturday. They sure sawed some fine lumber.
S.C.
Bartholomew sawed wood for H. Olson Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. George Vagness
and daughter are visiting at Curtiss and Cornell.
Mr. Swanson, the Libby,
McNeill & Libby man, was delivering seed in this vicinity Monday.
A few
ladies spent Monday p.m. with Mrs. Erwin Elmer. It was her birthday.
The
May basket hangers surely are enjoying themselves around here nights.
Mr.
and Mrs. Olaf Bragstad and children of Augusta spent Sunday at Ed
Englebretson's.
