Granton (19 November 1970)

Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler visited with Mr. and Mrs. William Poler at Memorial Home on Sunday. They also visited with their daughter and her husband, Mr and Mrs. Leo Palchik, at Hatfield that day.

Mrs. Harold Ottow, Neillsville, was a Saturday visitor at the home of her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler.

Mr and Mrs. Lyle Fero called on Mrs. Arlene Breseman Sunday evening. In the afternoon they visited with Edward Nagel of Edgar at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he is a patient.

Tuesday visitors at the home of Daphne and Pearl Beeckler were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Okray and son, Timmy, of Wausau. Mr. Okray, who is a professor at the University Center at Wausau, is their nephew.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog visited Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Louise Schlinsog, at Memorial Home. Mrs. Schlinsog, who is 92 years old, has improved greatly since suffering a stroke about two months ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegner were visitors Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Hulda Wegner, in Marshfield. Their daughter, Diane, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and her friend, Mary Anne Cross, spent the weekend with the Wegners.

Mr. and Mrs. Merle Bartsch visited Sunday with his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartsch, Jr., of Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Gehrman Radtke of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Lloyd Spry. Mrs. Spry plans to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Wild Rose with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson and their family.

Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke called on her aunt, Mrs. E. H. Knickel, at Marinette on Monday.

Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke attended a 40th wedding anniversary observance in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stevens of Loyal.

Mrs. William Eibergen is a medical patient at memorial Hospital.

Miss Lydia Schune has moved to Granton recently from the country.
