Mr. and Mrs. Donald Laverne Kauffman are making their home in Unity.

The couple was married Saturday, May 29, at Trinity Lutheran church, Unity.  The Rev. Robert Sutherland officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Len Nickel are the parents of the bride, the former Mrs. Neola Loughead, of Unity.  Mr. Kauffman is from Abbotsford.

The new Mrs. Kauffman chose a pastel blue dress accented by a corsage of pink roses and white carnations for her wedding day.

Her attendant, Mrs. Fred Kauffman, Unity, was attired in a pastel yellow dress accented by a yellow carnation corsage.

Mr. Kauffman was the groom’s attendant.

A dinner was served at about 6 o’clock at the Coral Room at the Colby Hotel.

The new Mrs. Kauffman has been employed at spencer Dairy Belt and Land O’Lakes Division at Spencer.  Her husband is a machine operator for Streckert Mfg. Co., Abbotsford.

The couple was on a honeymoon trip through the southwestern part of Wisconsin.
