Anderson, Esther (24 July 1895 - 28 Sept. 1958)

Mrs. Clarence E. Anderson died at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Sunday at 6:30 P.M., at the age of 63 years, after an illness of five months. Funeral services were held at Zion Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Wm. R. Christian officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Arthur Nagel, Henry Voightlander, Edward Hoeft, Ben Apfelbeck, Leo Apfelbeck and Ervin Bitter.

Esther Outcelt was born on July 24, 1895, at Genoa, Wis. She married Clarence E. Anderson at Greenwood, Wis., on Feb. 8, 1920. Mr. Anderson engaged in carpenter work in Clark county until November 1, 1925, when they purchased a farm in the town of Colby which they operated ever since.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Ray V. Anderson of Abbotsford; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Nora) Schulta of Schofield; one brother, George Outcelt of La Crosse; one sister, Mrs. Louise Wilson of Miami, Fla.; five grand children.

Mrs. Anderson was wll and favorably known for her fine Christian character and her congenial and industrial disposition, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed - at home or at social and church affairs. She will be missed by many.
