Thomas, David (29 Aug. 1858 - 28 Oct. 1935)
Funeral services for David Thomas, 77, who died at his home Monday morning at 3 o’clock, as the result of a stroke, were held here this afternoon. Services were held at the home at 2 o’clock and from the Presbyterian church at 2:30, with internment at the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. The Rev. L. C. Smith officiated at the ceremonies.
Mr. Thomas has been a resident of Abbotsford for the past 25 years. He was born in Menasha on August 29, 1858. He was married at Snells, near Neenah, on Dec. 4, 1882 to Miss Mary Elizabeth Williams, who survives him.
He is also survived by one son, Roland Thomas, Oshkosh; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Cook, Mt. Vernon, Iowa; a brother, William Thomas, and a nephew, John Thomas of Abbotsford, Wis.
Mr. Thomas was a member of the Yoeman Lodge.
