Mrs. K. Moen
of Superior, left Sunday for Superior after a week's visit at the Carl Benson
home.
Julius Sorenson left Tuesday for Larson for a visit with his
daughter, Mrs. R.C. Erickson. He will also visit relatives and friends in
Chicago and Stevens Point before returning home.
Mr. and Mrs. O.A.
Anderson and daughter Rue, and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Anderson of Greenwood
visited with relatives and friends here Sunday.
Mrs. Delong and grandson
Bobby Sorenson of Antigo came Friday for a visit at the Nels Sorenson home.
Charlie Ericksmoen was severely injured at the gravel pit at Black River
Thursday. The gravel pit caved in on him, breaking both his hips and hurting him
internally. He was taken to the Chippewa hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Marcus
Hermansen of Curtiss visited at the Louis Jackson home Thursday.
There
will be a pie and ice cream social at the Longwood Hall Saturday evening July
11. Ladies bring pies and everybody come.
Mrs. Emma Jorgenson left for
her home at Seattle, Wash. after a visit at the Carl Benson home.
Martin
and Emil Sorenson visited with C. Ericksmoen at the Chippewa Hospital Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Benson accompanied Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Flaatten of Owen of
Pike Lake Sunday.
Several from here spent the 4th at Thorp and
Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. John Awe of Owen visited at the C.M. Anderson
home Thursday evening.
