Mr. and Mrs. Backen and family spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Bessie.
Everybody is haying around here.
Miss Myrtle
Safke and Lydia Einfeldt are staying at the Geo. Einfeldt home.
We sure
are having lots of rain this month.
There will be no service until August
in the schoolhouse.
School will begin the 31st of August.
Not a
very larege crowd at the school meeting.
John Kampher had an accident
with his car Sunday. He ran into John Speich while hauling pears to the viner.
John, you better get some brakes on your car next time.
Mrs. Flikke and
children spent one afternoon at the Welsh home.
Dr. Boeckman was called
to the Welsh home to see Granny Scovel who wasn't feeling well, but is better
now.
Harry Smith had a slight accident at the factory the other morning.
Mrs. Palmer Vinger and daughter Miss Vivian motored to Eau Claire Saturday
to visit friends. They returned Sunday.
Palmer Vinger spent a couple days
of last week at Minocqua.
