The Ladies Aid will have a community picnic at Tourist Park
on Wednesday, Aug. 12, instead of at the home. Bring something to eat. Also
dues. Everybody is welcome. Come and be there for dinner.
A mistake was
made in last week's paper. It was Dan Perman who John Kampher ran into instead
of John Speich.
Mr. and Mrs. David Flory and daughter of Logansport, Ind.
Spent two days at the Welsh home.
Granny Scovel spent Friday at the
Victor Krokson home.
Mrs. Vinger spent Monday afternoon at the Welsh
home.
Granny Scovel and Mrs. Welsh spent Thursday afternoon at the
Limprecht home.
Mr. and Mrs. Newby spent Sunday at the Dakin's home.
Mr. Bessie has a Ford car.
Miss Lulu and Mr. Gerhardt Vinger spent
Saturday and Sunday with their brother, Palmer Vinger.

Flikke and family spent Saturday evening at the Welsh home.
A farewell
party was extended to Hugh Vine a few weeks ago. Hugh is working in the harvest
fields at Argyle, Wis.
Rob Smith had company from Loyal Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Marek and family spent Sunday evening at the Dakin's home.
Mrs. Flory and daughter, Mrs. Flikke and children, Granny Scovel and Mrs.
Welsh autoed to Owen Saturday.
Another correction for the paper last
week. It was stated the White Cross would meet at the Einfeldt home on the 29th,
it is the 22nd instead.
No preaching at the schoolhouse until August.
School will start August 31st with Mr. Jim Fradette as teacher. This is
Jim's 5th years with us.
Brother Wolf gave an inspiring sermon at the
West Beaver Chapel Monday night.
