The Ladies Aid will have a community picnic at Tourist Park on Wednesday, Aug. 12, instead of at the home. Bring something to eat. Also dues. Everybody is welcome. Come and be there for dinner.

A mistake was made in last week's paper. It was Dan Perman who John Kampher ran into instead of John Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. David Flory and daughter of Logansport, Ind. Spent two days at the Welsh home.

Granny Scovel spent Friday at the Victor Krokson home.

Mrs. Vinger spent Monday afternoon at the Welsh home.

Granny Scovel and Mrs. Welsh spent Thursday afternoon at the Limprecht home.

Mr. and Mrs. Newby spent Sunday at the Dakin's home.

Mr. Bessie has a Ford car.

Miss Lulu and Mr. Gerhardt Vinger spent Saturday and Sunday with their brother, Palmer Vinger.

Mr. and Mrs. Flikke and family spent Saturday evening at the Welsh home.

A farewell party was extended to Hugh Vine a few weeks ago. Hugh is working in the harvest fields at Argyle, Wis.

Another correction for the paper last week. It was stated the White Cross would meet at the Einfeldt home on the 29th, it is the 22nd instead.

No preaching at the schoolhouse until August.

School will start August 31st with Mr. Jim Fradette as teacher. This is Jim's 5th years with us.
