A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Shiltz of Stanley, Oct. 20, 1897.

N. L Butler has taken possession of his barber shop again. Mr. Rublee going to Stanley to Own a shop.

Married, at the Douglas House in this village, on Nov. 6, 1897, by court commissioner, Geo. Burke, John Perkins and Miss Olga Larson, both of Stanley.

Supervisor E. R. Wiley of the village, Eph. Lindquist, chairman of the town of Thorp, Math Brunner, chairman of the town of Withee, Ole Samuelson, chairman of the town of Worden and J. J. Hays, chairman of Reseburg, went to Neillsville on Monday to attend the annual meeting of the county board.

Samuel Flora and Miss Ethel Warner were married by Justice Beaumont at Stanley on Wednesday of last week.

Jacob E. Lucken was grated a patent Nov. 9th on his grip hook for binding chains.
