Feala, John (1849? - 29 Feb. 1936)
Mr. John Feala died at his home at Abbotsford at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 29, after a few months illness.
He was born in Austria and came to the United States with his wife, now deceased, about 62 years ago, and resided in Wisconsin ever since.
He leaves to mourn his death, three daughters, Mrs. Ed. Byreis, Mrs. J. T. Flynn, Mrs. Richard Schade, and three sons, Frank, Edward and John, also 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Tuesday, March 3, Rev. Fr. Novak officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Abbotsford cemetery. Gust Hintz, Martin Anderson, Herman Cornelius, Charles Hinke, Wm. Nagel and Fred Dietsche, Sr., acted as pallbearers.
Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. J. T. Flynn and Mrs. Arthur Sattler of Ashland, Mr. and Mrs. Jakel and family of Stetsonville, Frank Feala of Marshfield and John A. Feala of Chicago.
