Emil Reineke is at the Sacred Heart Hospital yet.

Word was received that Mr. Josie of Mead, died at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital

Harvey Dunnem is at the hospital at Marshfield. He underwent an operation two weeks ago for a ruptured appendix.

Victor Kuehl was a Stanley caller on Monday morning.

Lovell Markee and father-in-law Mack Butler made a business trip to Neillsville on Monday.

Charles Anderson is driving an International truck, having sold his car.

Mrs. Lovell Markee is helping Mrs. J. W. Kile, her cousin, clean house this week.

Mrs. Harry Boie and son Norval and family and a neighbor called at the Hugo Kuehl home on Sunday afternoon to buy maple syrup.

Leslie Conklin spent Sunday with Dean Kile, it being both their birthdays.

The Lewie Hilgert family of Osseo, and the Victor Kuehl family of Foster (Clark Co.), were callers at the E. A. Shoemaker home on Sunday evening.

The Lovell Markee family have been busy sawing lumber on their timberland this last week.
