Owen Hughes left Friday for Wales, Wis., and Oak Park, Ill., for a visit.
Mrs. G. G. Shields is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knutson at Wesby (Vernon Co., Wis.).
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kuehnast, Chippewa Falls, were callers at the E. F. Kuehnast home, Sunday.
Mrs. F. Stroud returned from Milwaukee, Friday, where she visited Mrs. H. Stroud.
Mrs. W. Taylor of Stevens Point, visited at the Frank Bernitt home, Saturday.
At the cooking school sponsored by the Northern States Power Co., last Thursday, food prizes were awarded to Miss Ella Saefker, Mrs. Frank Carpenter, Mrs. Charles Krone, Mrs. H. J. Amacher, and Mrs. S. J. Paynter. Mrs. B. E. Taylor of Minneapolis, won the special prize - the electric clock.
Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Dolan and daughter Mary drove to the Marshfield clinic where little Mary was a surgical patient, Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dolan, Westboro, spent Sunday at the Peter Dolan home.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krueger and son spent Sunday at Lake Chetek.
Robert Kuehnast, Marshfield, spent Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Kuehnast.
