Golden, Frank (10 Mar. 1902 - 18 July 1936)

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Bernard’s Catholic church for Frank Golden, 34, who died of bronchial pneumonia Saturday at his home, four miles east of Abbotsford, Wis.

The Rev. J. J. Novak officiated at the requiem mass and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. Maurice Mantor, Albert Apfelbeck, Frank Beil, Joe Kunze and Alex Smith were the pallbearers.

Mr. Golden was born in Racine county on March 10, 1902, and came to this vicinity when still a child. On October 8, 1930, he was married to Miss Laura Strebe at her home in the town of Holton.

Besides his wife he is survived by two children, Elvira Ann, 4, and Harold Frank, 2; his mother, Mrs. Augusta Golden, a brother, Peter of Berwyn, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Ziegenhagen, Fond du Lac.

Among those from out of town here for the funeral were Mrs. A. Ziegenhagen and children, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Golden and children, Chicago; Mrs. Ward Brown and daughter, Ella, Menominee, Mich.; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hebert of Blair.
