Post, Christine Ann (17 Nov. 1973 - 11 Dec. 2008)

Christine Ann Post went home to our Heavenly Father on Dec. 11, 2008. Services were held on Dec. 15 in Ramstein, Germany and again on Dec. 20 in Buffalo, N.Y.

Christine was born Nov. 17 1973, to Noreen and Skip Ellis of Buffalo, N.Y. Early in her life, following Noreen's remarriage, Christine became the daughter of David Kobrowski until his death in 1991.

Christine exchanged marriage vows with Andrew Post on Sept. 9, 1999, and they reaffirmed their vows on Sept. 10, 2004, at Our Father's House in Chili, Wis., with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating.

Christine leaves behind her husband Andrew and four children, Abigail, Christian, Madeline and Payton, Ramstein, Germany; mom and stepdad, Noreen and Robert Phillips and brother Robbie, Buffalo, N.Y.; father, Skip Ellis, Buffalo, N.Y.; dad and mom-in-law, Kirk and JoAnn Rumsey, Marshfield; father-in-law and wife, Dennis and Evonda Post, Auburndale; sister-in-law and husband, Denise and Lonnie Carlson, their children, Makala, Kyle and Kolby, Glenwood Springs, Colo.; grandma(in-law) Barbara Godard, Marshfield; grandpa and grandma(in-law) Keith and Mildred Rumsey, Friendship, N.Y.; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Christine enjoyed traveling with her family throughout Germany and surrounding countries, and while the family was stationed in England, the same. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, and scrapbooking. The greatest love of her life was being a wife and mother. She was completely devoted to her family.

Gone is a beautiful wife,

mother, daughter, friend loved by all.

Her soul is now at rest.

She'll sleep in peace,

knowing the joy of perfect rest

in Heaven above,

Where she may dwell contentedly,

Protected by God's love.

Our hearts may grieve

and yet we know she lives in peace

within the house of God.
