Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Howard and Vera Dean went to
Black River fishing Tuesday.
Ralph Meredith cut oats for Joe Ticer
Monday.
L.R. Howard and wife returned home to Sparta Wednesday. They
report threshing under way in the country and corn looking fine.
Alice,
Mary, Edna and Bobbie Bell of Humbird visited at the F.E. Dean home Wednesday.
Mary and Edna stayed over until Friday.
We understand that Miss Beulah
Tubbs of Humbird has the Church school for the coming term.
Mrs. Burda
expects to leave for Chicago about Aug. 15.
Johnnie Larson has gone to
N.D. to work in the harvest fields.
C.J. Bigelow and Ralph and Tom
Podrovitz and George are working on the road for Maurice Meredith in Foster
Township.
Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Dean and Joyce and Mrs. Loy went to Humbird
