Dobrzynski, Valentine (14 FEB 1866 - 5 MAY 1948)
Val Dobrzynski passed away at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital on May 5, 1948 of old age infirmities. He reached the age of 82 years.

He was born in Poland, Feb. 14, 1866, was married to Katherine Pietras in 1888. They came to America in 1890 and lived in Pittsburgh, Pa. for several years. They then came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), where they lived on a farm in the town of Withee until 1936, after which they retired to the village of Thorp.
His wife preceded him in death four years ago. Since then he had been residing with his children.
He leaves to mourn, two sons, Wallace and Andrew Dobrzynski of Thorp; three daughters, Stella (Mrs. Charles Weber) of Chicago, Louis (Mrs. John Szymanski) and Sophie (Mrs. Wallace Kozlowski) of Thorp; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church Monday, May 11th at ten o’clock, Rev. Francis Piekarski, Rev. Ernest Kaim and Rev. Jerome Kamla officiating.
Burial was made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: Victor Zielinski, Mike Kaminski, Ig. Przybylski, Frank Arciszewski, Frank Sawczuk and Joe Kaminski.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Chas. Weber, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Andres, Mrs. Pearl Stroinski, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Dobrzynski, Gladys Dobrzynski and Mrs. Edna Strzelicki, of Chicago.
