Miller, Harold (15 Mar. 1914 - 19 Aug. 1979)

Harold Miller Colby--A former town of Hull farmer and cheesemaker, Harold Miller, 65, Colby, died early Sunday morning at his home. Death followed a lingering illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robin O. Fink officiating. Burial will be in the Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin).

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller was born March 25, 1914 at Colby, Wis. He attended Cherokee School and Colby High School. On Sept. 21, 1940 at Dubuque, Iowa, he married Bernice Leffel.

He was a cheesemaker at Hull Co-op 17 years and farmed in the town of Hull 23 years. He retired from farming in 1977. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Chruch, its Men's Club and dart ball team and Lutheran Layman's League. He currently was seving as vice president of AAL of which he had served as president 10 years.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Kenneth of Spencer, Miss Tonnie Miller of Denver, Colo., and Miss Renee Miller of Dillingham, Alaska; a grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Arends of Marshfield.
