Trunkel, Bernard James (13 December 1970 - 13 December 1970)

Bernard James, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Trunkel, Jr., of Tomah, was born there on December 13. He lived only a few hours. The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the Hill Funeral Home and at the graveside in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery at Willard. The Rev. Michael Mertens officiated.

The baby is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Trunkel, Jr., of Tomah; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ulrich of Neillsville, and his paternal grandparents, Josephine and Anton Trunkel, Sr., of Willard. Anthony Trunkel, Jr., is a former Willard resident.

People from out-of-town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Ernest Ulrich, George Ulrich and Hilda Ulrich, all of Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Trunkel and children of Lakeland, Minn.
