The Ladies Home Mission will meet at the church basement, Wednesday afternoon, May 5th. Mrs. Delos C. Luhrsen will be hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. George Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Christenson, Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schock, Mosinee, were Sunday guests at the Charles Hoffman home.
Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Jenks, Mrs. Wm. Daley and Mrs. Charles Hoffman attended a party at Wausau, Monday evening, when the Eastern Star entertained the Masons.
Maxwell Jenks left, Wednesday, for Weyauwega, West Bend and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He will return Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kuehnast spent the week-end at Chippewa Falls where they visited at the Clifford Elliot home.
Miss Beth Peterson left Sunday, for Madison to resume her studies at the University of Wisconsin. She spent the past week here, visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Peterson.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hoeft moved, Saturday, into their home on Highway 13. They recently purchased the house from Charles Engel.
Mrs. Harry Randall, Owen, spent Tuesday visiting at the Wm. Daley home.
Mrs. Andrew Lieders was hostess to a group of friends at her home, Thursday. Pinochle was played and a delicious lunch was served.
Mrs. Emil Wosko, St. Paul, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Shue, Hayward, Wis., spent Saturday morning at the Fred Ries home.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ries, daughter, Verna Mae, Mrs. Emil Wosko, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Shue drove to Merrill, Saturday afternoon. Here they attended the wedding of Mr. Ries’ nephew. They returned Sunday afternoon.
Those present from Abbotsford at the Deanery Meeting held at Marshfield last Thursday were: Rev. C. D. Brady, Mrs. Joe McCabe, Mrs. Frank Kadonsky, Mrs. Frank Carpenter, Mrs. Clarence Dolan.
Ray Hugoboom, Dorchester, was a caller in Abbotsford, Wednesday.
The Lutheran Ladies’ Aid will meet at the home of Mrs. Arnold Laack, on Thursday, May 6th.
Miss Jerry Comeaux was a visitor at Ogema, Saturday.
Chris Sauter, Dorchester, arrived Tuesday to spend more time at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kalepp .
